Atlas Copco drilling rig, drill rig, designed for deep hole RC drilling
Model: RD10+

Deep hole reverse circulation drilling rig
The well proven and dependable RD10+ is designed for deep hole RC drilling. With a pullback capacity of 445 kN (100000 lbf) it can be used to access mineral deposits around 1200 m (4000 ft) deep. Atlas Copco knows that to consistently hit pay dirt, your drill has to work fast, dig deep and keep working no matter what the rock, weather, or machinery throws at you. This is the mindset behind the Atlas Copco RD10+ hydraulic tophead drive exploration drill. It's a tough high-speed, reverse circulation drill that delivers the depth and durability to bring results.
Features & benefits
A 563 kW (755 hp) deck engine with an isolated powerpack base; This drives the hydraulic gearbox and the air compressor
The exclusive in/out box allows the compressor to be disconnected when not needed saving fuel and increasing component life
Two function-zoned consoles allow precise setup and operation of the machine
Fast rod handling with the standard jib boom and hoist
The derrick allows for a 0-to-45 degree drilling angle, and the derrick dumps to ground level and the jacks provide stability
Optional mud manifold for "off board" mud pump
